Import your contacts and lists from anywhere - Outlook, your Salesforce.com account, Excel spreadsheets and
comma-separated text lists - into your Act-On account.
Use Act-On list management facilities to scrub your lists, consolidate them, create targeted segments and use
them for marketing campaigns and sales communications.
Act-On generates valuable customer relationship information as it tracks messages sent to your contacts and the
responses received from them. Sync this information back into your Salesforce.com account.
Build
Start capturing information from visitors to your site. Use Act-On forms linked to your website or blog to capture your visitors' names,
email addresses and any other information you want.
Build "clean" lists by sending new list members a welcome message asking them to confirm their registration ("double opt-in").
Add new records, edit existing records, browse and search your lists.
Segment
Define list segments based on any of the fields in your lists. Create groups by directly selecting their
members. Improve response rates to your e-mail campaigns by tailoring your messages to specific segments.
Create follow-up lists based on people's responses (or non-responses) to earlier campaigns, so that you can
thank people who responded and prod people who have not.
Clean
Remove duplicate e-mail addresses from your lists. Makes obvious repairs and fixes to names and e-mail addresses.
Clean your lists further by removing e-mail addresses that have opted out or that have bounced. ( Act-On
maintains automatic lists of addresses that have opted out, or to which delivery is not possible.)
Sync With Salesforce.com
Import some or all of the leads and contacts in your Salesforce.com. Import everything. Or import just the
leads and contacts in specific Salesforce campaigns, or that are attached to specific Salesforce accounts.
Write any changes made back to Salesforce.com. Update the Salesforce activity history with information about
Act-On messages sent and responses received.
