There are different kinds of steps, for example:
» steps that send e-mail messages,
» steps that wait for specific amounts of time,
» steps that move prospects to other programs,
etc.
Each step can contain multiple conditional actions, with each action having a set of conditions that
determine whether or not it is executed.
The conditions are based on the prospect's attributes as well as past response behaviors.
For example, a message sending step could look like this:
if prospect is in this segment, send that message else send that other message.
For events and webinars, Act-On has made the process even easier. Act-On's webinar creation wizard
walks you through a few simple steps, such as specifying the webinar topic and time, the lists of
prospects to invite and the message templates to use. Act-On creates the event in WebEx and generates
the entire program from end to end. You can then go in and adjust any specific components.
