Intelligent Synchronization

Act-On pulls the leads and contacts you need for your marketing campaigns from SugarCRM.
Unlike the majority of marketing automation platforms, Act-On does not automatically bring across
the entire SugarCRM database. Instead, it allows you to decide just how much to bring across, and then
it keeps the subset in sync and up-to-date. You can set your synchronization to occur in real time or as a scheduled update.
While you can choose to bring across the entire database, a more typical need is to market to a subset of
the SugarCRM database. You can select Leads, Contacts, or any Default or Custom fields to segment your
database. Working with a subset of your total CRM database is faster, more accurate, and inherently safer than
maintaining two separate copies of your database in sync with each other.
Sales and Marketing Alignment
When you execute marketing campaigns, Act-On automatically updates the contact and lead records in SugarCRM, by
adding the marketing touch points (such as emails sent, click-throughs, webinar registrations, webinar attendance,
white paper downloads, website visits, and more) to the respective activity histories. Act-On adds only the most
relevant marketing touch points to the activity history.
Act-On automatically pushes data to SugarCRM for sales to view in the "Sales Portal". The "Sales Portal" allows
the sales person to view all website visitor activity, and customize and set their own criteria for alert settings
based on, person, company, city, state, area code, country, viewed webpage(s) and email address. Once the setup is
complete, automated notification emails are sent to the sales person, allowing them to follow up immediately.
Real-time Updates and Alerts

Using Act-On web forms you can run marketing campaigns that use web-based registration forms or other types of forms
that automatically update the SugarCRM database. In addition, any Act-On alerts generated by website visitor traffic
automatically update SugarCRM as well. Both marketers and sales professionals can get a real-time view of their
campaigns' performance as well as track their customers' and prospects' online behavior to help close business fast!
